Melhem Zein is going to be the guest of the 4th Prime of Star Academy 8 on Friday April 22, 2011 at 18:30 GMT. As scheduled, the students of Star Academy, Afram and Mohammed Dakdook, will sing with Melhem Zein “Kan Sadiqi”. Melhem Zein has launched a new song “Beddi Ghazel Soriyya” translated into “I want to court Syria”; lyrics by Faddil Slaiman, music by Rashed, distributed by Anas Karim and recorded at Moayad Alatrash Studio. This song is in response to the recent incidents that are taking place in Syria which are considered by many, Syrians and Arabs alike, as a conspiracy against Syria. Melhem is among many who released songs like these such as Wadi El Safi, Wael Kfoury, Ayman Zabib, Alaa Zalzaly just to name a few.

Melhem Zein sings in the fifth annual “Al Dakhelah” Festival, The Desert And The Sea, in Morocco which was launched yesterday Feb. 24, 2011 and will last for a couple of days. Melhem Zein throw his concert on Feb. 26, 2011 at 00:25. It is worthwhile noting that Melhem Zein is the only Arab singer who is taking part in this festival while the rest of the artists are coming from the African continent. Don’t miss it.
